Hello people of the blogosphere,
We havent split up if anyone was wondering, we just cant play gigs because the logistics involved are just silly so we have to wait till the holiday periods to do gigs! Which means a christmas gig is in order! 23rd of Decemeber at fibbers with our friends in Littlemores and Trophy Club. Make sure you get down for it as we havent played together since August and we want to play the songs off our EP which is going to be released as soon as possible. Maybe next summer if we can get stuff sorted.
In other news Orlando's started a new project with Zefs Chasing Cara and fellow Gerga Forda member titled Einhorn, be sure to check them out at
http://www.myspace.com/finkleisloiseinhorn
The stuff they have showed me is pretty awesome and they should have some stuff up on there myspaz page soon. Also me and liam are looking for a bassist in leeds who is interested in playing a mix between meet me in st louis, fall of troy and many many 90's emo bands. Send me a message on facebook or something if your interested. Were bursting with ideas and want to gig very soon.
That was a shameless plug at other things on our bands blog, how very rude.
Anyway, 23rd of December. Fibbers, York. Come!

New song up Tuesday!
Hello,
Its been a while, and to be honest its no ones fault but our own, may and june were quite busy months for us as a band and sometimes you just wanna chill out and such. But we DID record our new ep which is now fully mastered and finished, with a wonderful production job done by David Lawrie, we'll put some recording footage up in the near future.
Anyways, were putting a new track up on tuesday the 24th of August which were very excited about, we think this EP shits on the last record to be quite honest!
Also on the 28th were playing Galtres Festival in York with none other than 90's bands such as The Lightning Seeds, and Dodgy. I know RIGHT. Pure lols, and then we have a gig on the 1st of September, and after that its University for us all. So things will be slow in the Lost From Atlas camp, but we are going to try to gig as much as possible on top of everything.
Also my other band, well i say my band. The other band im in gerga forda, were going to be putting up a new song soon as well.
Anyway, be sure to check out the new song.

Finished
We have just finished recording our EP. It sounds pretty good from what i can tell with these monitor mixes we have. Somehow its turned out to sound like Deftones and At The Drive-In, i like it.
Its Currently 12:05 on sunday afternoon, and on the last day/night we worked a solid 21 hour day, or something like that.
Worth it.
Im going to go to sleep now

Elections, Hard work and New things to come.
So last night we had the General election.
As you may have guessed we all voted LibDem & Labour!
Lets hope Nick can make a juicey deal with Gordon or whoever will be the next labour leader!
I stayed up all night to watch counts role in. Partly because it was thrilling TV and also a great excuse to stay up very late to do work!.

(cheeky Hugely ironic poster for our Botb the other week)
Which leads me on to saying we have all been very busy as individuals.
Liam doing lots of drum teaching, house hunting and drinking
Dan has been flying off to all sorts of places on the last work free leg of his gap year.
And i have been finishing my Exhibition for my Art Foundation course.
But as of monday we will all be free as pumpkin pasties and will be having a hardcore writing session (probably around a week) trying to finish our next record which wiull hopefully be recorded end of may/june time with amigo David Lawrie.
Photos, Sounds and videos all coming soon... probably.
'Til next time turtles!
